From Ashinano you also have Yokohama Kaidashi Kikou (Cafe Alpha, 100% must read) and PositioN (a one-shot). Slice of life is present in different manga-genres and is rarely by itself like on the mangas of this author. Explore!

Can't wait for the next chapter. As much as I miss Alpha-san and her Café, I'm beginning to like Isaki and his world just as much.
ReplyDelete^ Have you read Yokohama Kaidashi Kikou (Record of a Yokohama Shopping Trip)? Same author as Kabu no Isaki, and one of the inspirations for Aria I believe. Otherwise, I don't know anything similar either. I thought the anime for Mushishi equally relaxing I guess.

@Anon, some other good slice of life mangas that haven't been said yet are: Amanchu, Aqua, Otoyomegatari, Aruku Hito, Yotsubato!and Dosei mansion.
I probably left some good mangas out, but I'd say that these, plus the already mentioned (Yokohama Kaidashi Kikou, PositioN and Mushishi) makes a quite long and nice list of to-read mangas. :)
